# What We Notice in the First 10 Minutes of Walking Into Your Facility

We've walked into ***thousands*** of facilities.
And in every single one, we find the most of the same things. You don't see it because it's familiar. We see it because we walked in ten minutes ago. That's not a criticism - it's just how familiarity works. When you're in a space every day, the inefficiencies stop looking like inefficiencies.
A facility walkthrough exists to reset that. We come in cold, read the space without any of the context your team carries, and in ten minutes a facility assessment surfaces what months of daily operation has made invisible.
Here's what we almost always see:
#### People Working Around Space Instead of With It
The first thing we watch is how people move. When staff are consistently sidestepping something, reaching past something, or taking an unnecessary extra step to get where they need to go, the facility layout is working against them.
These workarounds are so normalized that most teams don't register them as inefficiencies. They register them as just how it works here. But every detour has a cost - in time, in friction, and in the small erosions of morale that come from a space that doesn't support the work being done in it.
